My presentation on The Web Analytics Business Process is on slideshare

Thanks to some anonymous poster to my weblog, you can now view my Emetrics presentation on the Web Analytics Business Process over on slideshare or use the following embedded object (how cool!)

[I had to remove the object since it was breaking my site … sorry!]

I’m nearly done with the annotated version but it’s been slow going because work has been really busy lately. Keep watching this weblog!

Eric, this is genius. It’s what I’ve been trying to advocate for many years, but you have managed to succinctly get the message across very clearly. Kudos.

James: Thanks! I think that many of us have been advocating this for a long time. The reason I put the presentation together for Emetrics was that, for whatever reason, the message has still not filtered down to the right parts of the organization. Hopefully with folks like you and I evangelizing for process the message will spread more quickly.

Eric,

Loved your presentation. I think this is the final fase on the road to maturity of Web analytics. We here in the Netherlands are a couple of years behind (here the real smart companies start hiring web analist). Nonetheless, I would propose an addition to activities of smart companies in 2007. I think the really smart companies will use datamining principles more in the field of web analytics. Predictive modelling of customer online behaviour will become what distinguishes the good from the great (at least that’s my opinion :-)
